Housekeeping Attendant – Public Area

About the role

As a Housekeeping Attendant for Public Areas at Mama Shelter Dubai, you will ensure that every guest‑facing space is clean, welcoming and ready for enjoyment.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness and presentation of all public areas including lobbies, corridors, elevators, restaurants and guest‑accessible spaces.
• Keep back‑of‑house, staff corridors, offices and service areas tidy and organised to Mama Shelter standards.
• Ensure public washrooms are spotless, hygienic and fully stocked throughout the day.
• Identify and promptly address spills, stains, litter or any issue that could affect guest experience.
• Replenish cleaning supplies and guest amenities as required.
• Report any maintenance problems, damages or safety hazards to the supervisor immediately.
• Maintain a clean and organised housekeeping trolley, pantry and storage areas.

Required profile

• Strong attention to detail and ability to spot cleanliness issues quickly.
• Proactive attitude – take action before being asked.
• Good communication skills to inform supervisors of maintenance or safety concerns.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced hospitality environment.
