Housekeeping Manager

About the role

The Holiday Inn & Staybridge Suites Dubai Business Bay is seeking an experienced Housekeeping Manager to lead its housekeeping and laundry operations. You will ensure that guest rooms, public areas and equipment consistently exceed expectations while supporting the hotel’s sustainability initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Manage, coach and develop a team dedicated to exceptional housekeeping and laundry standards.
• Inspect public areas, rooms, suites, equipment and linen to ensure they exceed guest expectations.
• Maintain and order supplies and equipment while minimizing waste in line with green initiatives.
• Assist in preparing and refining budgets to maximise profitability.
• Address special requests for guests, VIPs, repeat visitors and Club members.
• Support deep‑cleaning projects and provide hands‑on assistance during busy periods.
• Educate team members on compliance with local laws, IHG brand standards and safety regulations.

Required profile

• Excellent communication and strong interpersonal skills.
• Business language and tools acumen.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a managerial role.
• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in hospitality or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Direct managerial experience overseeing a team.
