Housekeeping Manager

About the role

The Royal Stables Private Members Club in Abu Dhabi is looking for an experienced Housekeeping Manager to lead its housekeeping team and ensure the club’s facilities meet luxury hospitality standards. Reporting to senior management, you will be responsible for maintaining impeccable cleanliness, hygiene and presentation across all guest and back‑of‑house areas.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, coach and supervise the housekeeping team across all club facilities.
• Develop, implement and monitor high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, presentation and service.
• Plan daily schedules, allocate tasks, manage shift coverage and set priorities.
• Inspect bedrooms, lounges, washrooms, offices, public areas and back‑of‑house spaces to ensure luxury standards are met.
• Coordinate with operations, membership, events, equestrian and maintenance teams for seamless service delivery.
• Manage inventory of cleaning supplies, equipment, linen, uniforms, amenities and stock levels.
• Monitor inventory, place replenishment orders with approved suppliers and maintain accurate records.
• Establish and maintain housekeeping procedures, checklists, cleaning schedules and inspection standards.
• Handle member, guest and management requests promptly, including VIP visits and special events.
• Ensure safe handling, storage and use of cleaning chemicals and equipment, and report any maintenance or safety issues.

Required profile

• Proven experience in managing housekeeping operations within a luxury hospitality environment.
• Strong leadership and team‑management abilities, with a focus on training and performance monitoring.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and presentation.
• Ability to work collaboratively with multiple internal departments.
• Good organisational skills for scheduling, inventory control and reporting.
