Housekeeping Manager

About the role

The First Group Hospitality’s exclusive private members club in Abu Dhabi is seeking a Housekeeping Manager to lead a team that delivers impeccable cleanliness and presentation across all club facilities. You will be responsible for upholding luxury standards, coordinating with multiple departments, and ensuring a seamless guest experience.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, coach and supervise the housekeeping team across bedrooms, lounges, public areas, back‑of‑house spaces and event venues.
• Plan daily schedules, task allocations, shift coverage and priorities to meet luxury hospitality standards.
• Inspect all areas for cleanliness, hygiene and presentation, and address any deficiencies promptly.
• Manage inventory of cleaning supplies, linen, uniforms, amenities and coordinate replenishment orders with approved suppliers.
• Develop and maintain housekeeping procedures, checklists, cleaning schedules and inspection standards.
• Support recruitment, onboarding, performance reviews and professional development of staff.
• Coordinate housekeeping requirements for VIP visits, private events and special occasions.
• Ensure safe handling, storage and use of chemicals and report maintenance, safety or security issues.
• Maintain accurate records, inspection reports, inventories and incident logs.
• Monitor hygiene, health‑safety, pest control, waste management and environmental standards.
• Manage housekeeping budgets and drive cost‑control initiatives without compromising quality.

Required profile

• Minimum 4 years of housekeeping experience in luxury hotels, resorts, private clubs or similar high‑end hospitality environments.
• Proven experience supervising or managing a housekeeping team.
• Strong leadership, coaching, delegation and team‑management abilities.
• Excellent organisational, planning and time‑management skills.
• High attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Professional, reliable, discreet and service‑oriented attitude.
• Fluency in English; Arabic is highly desirable.
