Housekeeping Supervisor – Downtown Dubai

About the role

The Housekeeping Supervisor ensures that guest rooms, public areas and facilities meet the high standards of the St. Regis Downtown Dubai. Working closely with housekeeping staff and other hotel departments, the supervisor coordinates daily cleaning activities and maintains quality and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect guest rooms, public areas and pool after cleaning to verify compliance with quality standards.
• Run sold‑room reports, verify room status, prioritize cleaning, and update departing room status.
• Act as liaison between Housekeeping, Engineering, Front Office and Laundry to resolve discrepancies.
• Prepare and communicate changes in room assignments and hand over issues to the next shift.
• Complete required paperwork and documentation for each shift.
• Assist management with hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating and coaching housekeeping staff.
• Report maintenance problems, safety hazards and incidents; follow safety and security procedures.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent; hospitality experience preferred.
• Ability to lift and move objects up to 55 lb unaided and heavier items with assistance.
• Physical stamina to stand, walk, kneel and perform repetitive motions throughout a shift.
• Strong communication skills and professional appearance.
• Commitment to confidentiality and protection of company assets.

Required skills

• Basic computer literacy for data entry and reporting.
