Housekeeping Supervisor

About the role

The Housekeeping Supervisor ensures the cleanliness and orderliness of guest rooms, public areas, and back‑of‑house spaces while leading a team of attendants. You will oversee daily operations, maintain high standards, and contribute directly to guest satisfaction and the hotel’s operational excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Organize and assign daily tasks to Housekeeping Attendants, ensuring efficient service on guest floors.
• Provide keys, supplies, and necessary resources to attendants for their daily duties.
• Handle guest requests and complaints with care, ensuring effective resolution.
• Inspect guest rooms regularly to verify cleanliness and adherence to quality standards.
• Monitor room status and communicate with the Front Office for smooth operations.
• Report damaged items and broken equipment to Engineering and follow lost‑and‑found procedures.
• Order housekeeping supplies on time and manage inventory to maintain sufficient stock levels.
• Evaluate attendant performance, give feedback, and report issues to senior housekeeping management.
• Train room attendants on Standard Operating Procedures to uphold quality assurance.
• Uphold environmental, health, and safety standards in line with company policies.
