Housekeeping Supervisor

About the role

The Housekeeping Supervisor ensures the highest standards of cleanliness, presentation, and guest service across assigned areas of the hotel. This role involves supervising room attendants, conducting inspections, and coordinating with other departments to guarantee guest satisfaction and operational excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise daily operations of assigned guestroom floors and public areas.
• Conduct thorough inspections of guest rooms, corridors, pantries, and service areas to ensure brand standards are met.
• Monitor and guide Room Attendants and Housemen to maintain consistent quality and efficiency.
• Respond promptly to guest requests and ensure preferences or special instructions are followed.
• Train, coach, and support housekeeping staff on health, safety, and grooming standards.
• Maintain adequate stock levels of linen, amenities, and cleaning supplies.
• Report and follow up on maintenance issues or discrepancies in room status.
• Coordinate with Front Office and Engineering for smooth room operations and maintenance follow‑ups.

Required profile

• Minimum 2–3 years of housekeeping experience in a luxury hotel, with at least 1 year in a supervisory capacity.
• Strong knowledge of housekeeping procedures, cleaning techniques, and hygiene standards.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• High attention to detail and strong organizational abilities.
• Fluency in English; additional languages are an asset.

• Proficient in using housekeeping software.
• Basic Microsoft Office applications.
