Housekeeping Supervisor

About the role

Salayel Hospitality is seeking a dedicated and detail‑oriented Housekeeping Supervisor to oversee daily housekeeping operations across its properties in Abu Dhabi. The role ensures high standards of cleanliness, hygiene and guest satisfaction while leading the housekeeping team in line with brand standards and UAE regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise daily housekeeping activities, including guest rooms, public areas and back‑of‑house areas.
• Conduct regular inspections to verify cleanliness, hygiene and presentation standards.
• Train, guide and motivate housekeeping team members to maintain performance and productivity.
• Prepare duty rosters, manage attendance and allocate manpower effectively.
• Ensure correct usage, storage and control of cleaning chemicals, equipment and supplies.
• Coordinate with Engineering and Front Office for maintenance issues and room status updates.
• Handle guest requests and resolve housekeeping‑related complaints professionally.

Required profile

• Minimum 2–4 years of experience in hotel housekeeping operations.
• Prior experience as a Housekeeping Supervisor or Senior Room Attendant (mandatory).
• Experience within the UAE hospitality sector is preferred.
• Strong leadership, communication and organisational skills.
• Good knowledge of housekeeping SOPs, cleaning standards and chemicals.
• Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
• Good command of English; additional languages are an advantage.
