HR, PRO & Legal Officer (Dubai)

About the role

We are seeking a proactive HR, PRO & Legal Officer to join our bakery products manufacturing company in Dubai Investment Park 2. The role combines human‑resources administration, government liaison (PRO) and legal compliance, ensuring all employee‑related processes align with UAE labour regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day HR, PRO and government‑related activities, including interactions with MOHRE, ICP and GDRFA.
• Process employee work permits, labour contracts, visas, renewals, amendments and cancellations.
• Monitor WPS compliance and payroll accuracy.
• Prepare, maintain and update employment contracts and employee records.
• Advise management on UAE Labour Law and employee‑related matters.
• Handle probation, leave, resignation, termination and employee‑relations issues.
• Coordinate with typing centres, PRO service providers and legal consultants as needed.
• Ensure confidentiality and keep HR documentation and government records up‑to‑date.
• Stay informed on changes to UAE Labour Law, MOHRE regulations and related procedures.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of UAE experience in HR, PRO, government relations or a similar role.
• Strong practical knowledge of UAE Labour Law and related compliance.
• Good understanding of MOHRE, WPS, visa, work‑permit and employment‑contract processes.
• Excellent communication, coordination and organisational skills.
• Fluent written and spoken English; Arabic is an advantage.
• UAE driving licence is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple responsibilities efficiently.
