HSE Administrator

About the role

Worley is seeking an experienced HSE Administrator to lead health, safety, security, environment and quality (HSSEQ) initiatives on a major EPC project in Abu Dhabi. You will act as the primary HSSE liaison between the Project Management Consultant (PMC), EPC contractor and subcontractors, ensuring safe and sustainable project delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Drive HSSEQ goals, objectives and targets through personal leadership and active involvement.
• Provide HSSE guidance to ensure the Project HSSE Management System is integrated into overall execution strategy.
• Monitor EPC contractor performance, certify HSSE personnel qualifications, and ensure compliance with HSSE procedures.
• Champion a strong safety culture, conduct audits, and manage non‑conformance reports (NCRs).
• Coordinate with PMC construction engineers on HSSE activities during construction phases.
• Support investigations of HSSE incidents and communicate findings to management.
• Maintain HSSE records, evaluate vendor and sub‑vendor HSSE systems, and deliver regular feedback and lessons learned.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline.
• Proven experience in HSSE management on large EPC projects, preferably in the energy or chemicals sector.
• Strong leadership, communication and stakeholder‑engagement abilities.
• Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams and external contractors.
