HSE Engineer (Gas Processing Project)

About the role

Penspen is seeking an experienced HSE Engineer to join a gas processing project in Abu Dhabi. The role focuses on ensuring compliance with ADNOC HSE standards and delivering a safe working environment throughout the EPC lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement and monitor HSE plans in line with ADNOC regulations and project requirements.
• Conduct risk assessments, safety audits, and incident investigations.
• Coordinate with project teams to integrate HSE controls into engineering and construction activities.
• Provide HSE training and guidance to subcontractors and site personnel.
• Prepare and submit HSE reports to client and internal stakeholders.

Required profile

• Engineering degree or equivalent from a recognized university.
• Minimum 10 years of HSE experience, with at least 5 years on oil and gas EPC projects.
• Approved HSE Engineer status by ADNOC or equivalent recognition.
• Strong knowledge of ADNOC HSE standard practices and procedures.

Required skills

• Proficiency in HSE risk assessment methodologies.
• Experience with safety audit and incident investigation tools.
• Familiarity with ADNOC HSE standards and regulatory compliance.
