HSE Engineer – SHEQ Department

About the role

Join the SHEQ Department as an HSE Engineer and support Caracal Light Ammunition’s commitment to safety and sustainability. You will be responsible for ensuring compliance with health, safety and environmental standards across all operations in Abu Dhabi.

Key responsibilities

• Implement and maintain HSE programs aligned with company policies and local regulations.
• Conduct regular inspections and audits, identify hazards and drive corrective actions.
• Lead incident and accident investigations, perform root‑cause analysis and recommend preventive measures.
• Maintain up‑to‑date safety policies, procedures and records for employees and contractors.
• Design and deliver HSE training to promote safe work practices.
• Monitor compliance with HSE laws, ISO 45001 and other international standards.
• Prepare risk assessments, safety documentation and performance reports.
• Support environmental initiatives and emergency preparedness planning.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical, Mechanical, Industrial or HSE Engineering (or equivalent).
• Occupational Safety & Health Diploma, NEBOSH General/International Certificate (required).
• Strong planning, analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work under pressure.
• Attention to detail, high ethical standards and accountability.
