HSE Manager – Abu Dhabi

About the role

Parsons is seeking an experienced HSE Manager to lead health, safety and environmental initiatives on its Abu Dhabi construction projects. The role combines strategic oversight with hands‑on implementation to ensure compliance with local regulations and company standards.

Key responsibilities

• Advise senior site leadership on the establishment and management of ESHARP and Parsons SH&E processes, identifying and controlling hazards.
• Develop site‑specific work plans, compliance programs, training and orientation plans that meet UAE regulations, Parsons’ ESHARP system and client requirements.
• Collaborate with SH&E, project and program managers to evaluate contractor performance and ensure alignment with risk‑management practices.
• Audit projects and worksites against corporate and client standards, produce written audit reports and recommend corrective actions.
• Implement occupational injury and incident reporting, conduct investigations, root‑cause analyses and trend reporting.
• Supervise emergency response and first‑aid teams, and represent SH&E management during regulatory inspections.
• Oversee new‑hire safety orientation and other safety‑related training programs.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in safety, health, environment, loss prevention or a relevant engineering discipline.
• Recognized OSH certifications such as NEBOSH Diploma, NVQ Level 6/7 or equivalent.
• ISO 45001:2018 Lead Auditor certification.
• Extensive knowledge of UAE and Abu Dhabi health‑ and‑safety regulations and reporting procedures.
