HSE Officer

About the role

The China Civil Engineering Construction Corporation (CCECC) is seeking an experienced HSE Officer to support its road, infrastructure and bridge projects in Dubai. You will be responsible for implementing health, safety and environment policies, conducting site inspections and ensuring compliance with RTA and UAE regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Implement and monitor HSE policies, procedures and safe work practices across all project sites.
• Conduct daily site inspections, toolbox talks and safety briefings.
• Identify hazards, perform risk assessments and enforce appropriate control measures.
• Ensure compliance with UAE HSE regulations, RTA requirements and project specifications.
• Investigate incidents, near‑misses and unsafe conditions, recommending corrective actions.
• Maintain HSE records, permits, inspection reports and other safety documentation.
• Coordinate safety matters with project teams, subcontractors, consultants and authorities.

Required profile

• Diploma or Degree in Health, Safety & Environment, Civil Engineering or a related field.
• 3–6 years of experience as an HSE Officer on road, infrastructure or bridge projects.
• Preferably experience on RTA projects in Dubai.
• Strong knowledge of UAE HSE regulations and RTA safety requirements.
• Excellent communication, coordination and reporting abilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
