HSE Officer

About the role

The HSE Officer will safeguard health, safety and environmental standards across construction and landscape projects, ensuring compliance with local regulations and company policies.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct regular site inspections to identify and mitigate health, safety and environmental hazards.
• Develop, implement and maintain HSE policies and procedures in line with relevant standards.
• Perform risk assessments and recommend effective control measures.
• Organise and deliver safety training programmes for construction and landscape teams.
• Investigate incidents, accidents or near‑misses and produce detailed corrective‑action reports.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers and contractors to embed HSE requirements into project planning.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in occupational health and safety, environmental science, engineering or a related field.
• Relevant certifications such as CSP, NEBOSH or equivalent.
