HSE Officer – Power & Utilities

About the role

Bilfinger is seeking an experienced HSE Officer with valid TAQA approval to support safe execution of power, utilities, electrical infrastructure, maintenance, construction and project activities in Abu Dhabi.

Key responsibilities

• Implement and monitor project HSE plans, procedures and safe working practices in line with TAQA requirements.
• Conduct daily site inspections, identify unsafe acts, conditions and potential hazards.
• Review and approve risk assessments, JSA/JHA, method statements and task risk assessments.
• Enforce Permit to Work (PTW) processes and ensure proper Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) and electrical isolation procedures.
• Oversee HV/LV electrical activities, incident investigation and contractor safety management.

Required profile

• Proven experience as an HSE Officer in industrial or utilities projects.
• Valid TAQA approval and knowledge of TAQA System Safety Rules.
• Familiarity with ADOSH‑SF requirements and UAE legislation.
• Strong practical experience in site HSE management, risk assessment and incident investigation.
