HSEQ Manager

About the role

The HSEQ Manager will lead and manage all Health, Safety, Environment and Quality activities for the NYU Project, ensuring full compliance with client requirements, contractual obligations, company policies, legal regulations and applicable HSEQ standards.

Key responsibilities

• Implement HSEQ policies, procedures, plans and systems across the project.
• Monitor site compliance and ensure adherence to client, contractual and regulatory requirements.
• Manage incidents, non‑conformities and drive corrective actions.
• Conduct audits, inspections and risk assessments to identify hazards and improvement opportunities.
• Prepare and maintain HSEQ documentation, reports and performance metrics.
• Promote a strong culture of safety, quality, environmental responsibility and continuous improvement.
• Liaise with stakeholders, contractors and client representatives on HSEQ matters.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Engineering, HSE, Environmental Management, Quality Management, Facilities Management or a related field.
• NEBOSH IGC or equivalent HSE certification preferred.
• ISO 45001, ISO 14001 and ISO 9001 internal/lead auditor certification preferred.
• Minimum 8–10 years of experience in HSEQ, facilities management, construction, engineering or large‑scale project operations.
• 5–7 years in a supervisory or managerial HSEQ role.
• Strong leadership, stakeholder management and team supervision abilities.
