Human Resources Assistant

About the role

We are looking for a detail‑oriented Human Resources Assistant to support our HR Business Partner in Dubai. The role offers a chance to develop HR expertise in a fast‑paced, international trading company.

Key responsibilities

• Provide day‑to‑day administrative and operational support to the HR Business Partner.
• Assist with onboarding, probation tracking, confirmation and off‑boarding processes.
• Maintain employee records, HR documentation and filing systems.
• Handle employee inquiries and basic employee‑relations matters under HRBP guidance.
• Coordinate recruitment activities such as CV screening, interview scheduling and offer documentation.
• Prepare and maintain HR reports, trackers and databases.
• Support compliance with UAE labour laws and internal HR policies.
• Assist in performance review cycles, KPI/OKR documentation and people‑development initiatives.
• Update HR SOPs, policies and internal documentation.
• Collaborate with regional HR teams on cross‑border tasks when required.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field.
• 1–2 years of HR experience, preferably as an HR Assistant, HR Executive or HR Generalist support.
• Basic understanding of HR processes; knowledge of UAE labour law is a plus.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Good communication and coordination abilities.
• Ability to work independently while supporting senior HR stakeholders.
• Comfortable in a fast‑paced, multicultural environment.
