Human Resources Generalist

About the role

The Human Resources Generalist will manage day‑to‑day HR operations across the full employee lifecycle, ensuring accurate payroll, timely onboarding, and compliance with UAE labour law. The role supports employees and managers by delivering consistent HR services and maintaining up‑to‑date records.

Key responsibilities

• Manage full‑cycle recruitment, from job posting to offer letter preparation, and coordinate new‑joiner logistics with IT, Projects & Procurement.
• Conduct onboarding and orientation, maintain hiring records, and ensure completion of onboarding checklists.
• Collect attendance, leave and overtime data, prepare monthly payroll sheets in Excel and HRIS, and process WPS SIF files.
• Monitor daily attendance, process leave requests, and reconcile attendance before payroll cut‑off.
• Maintain employee files, HRIS database, and master sheets; coordinate visa renewals and labour contracts with the PRO.
• Ensure HR processes comply with UAE labour law, support audits, and prepare routine HR reports.
• Act as first point of contact for employee queries, support disciplinary and grievance procedures, and assist with engagement activities.
• Support policy development, communication, and training initiatives as directed by the HR Director.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field.
• 3–4 years of experience as an HR Generalist covering recruitment, payroll and employee relations.
• Experience with UAE payroll, WPS processing and multi‑entity environments is preferred.
• Professional HR certification (e.g., CIPD, SHRM, aPHR) is a plus.

Required skills

• Working knowledge of UAE Labour Law and related regulations.
• HRIS administration and record‑keeping.
• Advanced Excel for payroll calculations.
• Experience with WPS (Wage Protection System) processing.
• Familiarity with ERP systems for payroll requests.
