Human Resources Manager – Abu Dhabi

About the role

International SOS is seeking an experienced Human Resources Manager to lead the HR function for its Abu Dhabi operations. The role combines strategic HR leadership with hands‑on management across recruitment, employee relations, performance, compensation and compliance within a healthcare environment.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with senior leaders to develop and execute HR strategies aligned with business objectives.
• Lead workforce planning, organisational design and talent management initiatives.
• Oversee recruitment, onboarding, retention and succession planning for healthcare and corporate roles.
• Manage performance management, leadership development and employee engagement programmes.
• Administer payroll, benefits, HR systems and ensure compliance with UAE Labour Law and company policies.
• Handle complex employee relations matters and promote a positive workplace culture.
• Support medical workforce registration, licensing, mobilisation and regulatory processes.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in HR management or HR business partnering.
• Proven experience in the healthcare, medical or health‑services sector.
• Strong knowledge of UAE Labour Law and employee‑relations practices.
• Demonstrated people‑leadership and stakeholder‑management capabilities.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, multicultural, matrix environment.
