Humanities Teacher – British Curriculum (Full‑Time)

About the role

The Indian Academy Dubai, a leading British‑curriculum school, is seeking a Humanities Teacher to join its faculty on a temporary, full‑time basis. The successful candidate will deliver engaging Humanities lessons to students while adhering to the KHDA framework and school standards.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, prepare and deliver Humanities curriculum for British‑curriculum classes.
• Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
• Maintain classroom discipline and foster a positive learning environment.
• Collaborate with colleagues on interdisciplinary projects and school initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with KHDA regulations and school policies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Humanities or a related field.
• Minimum one year of teaching experience in the UAE within a British‑curriculum setting.
• Excellent English communication skills.
• Eligibility to work in the UAE (own or spouse visa preferred).
• Immediate availability and current residence in the UAE.

Required skills

• Familiarity with the KHDA framework.
