HVAC Technician

About the role

We are looking for an HVAC Technician to join Anantara Hotels & Resorts at Qasr Al Sarab Desert Resort in Abu Dhabi. The role involves installing, maintaining and repairing ventilation and air‑conditioning systems to ensure guest comfort and operational efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Install, maintain and repair ventilation and air‑conditioning equipment.
• Identify maintenance risks on HVAC equipment.
• Diagnose electrical and mechanical faults.
• Clean, adjust and repair systems, and perform warranty services.
• Carry out emergency repairs promptly and efficiently.
• Provide technical direction and on‑the‑job training to team members.
• Maintain daily logs and records of all maintenance activities.
• Ensure compliance with appliance standards and Occupational Health and Safety regulations.
• Follow service standards, work instructions and customer requirements.
• Assist with customer queries related to HVAC services.

Required profile

• 1‑2 years of operating experience in a similar HVAC role, preferably within a luxury hotel brand.
• Familiarity with the operations and priorities of other hotel departments.
• Documented training from a technical or vocational institute.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and electrical schematics.
• Strong commitment to teamwork and customer service.
