HVAC Technician Level 3 – Luxury Resort

About the role

The Technician 3 – HVAC supports preventive and corrective maintenance of HVAC systems at a world‑class resort. Working under supervision, the role focuses on basic servicing, inspections and assistance during breakdowns to ensure safe and reliable operations.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in planned preventive maintenance (PPM) and corrective maintenance of fan coil units (FCUs), air handling units (AHUs), fresh air handling units (FAHUs), exhaust fans and ventilation systems.
• Support senior technicians during troubleshooting, breakdown response and shutdown activities.
• Perform basic checks such as filter replacement, belt inspection, drain cleaning and lubrication of moving parts.
• Follow safety procedures and permit‑to‑work requirements, maintain logbooks and report issues to senior staff.
• Keep plant rooms and work areas clean and orderly.

Required profile

• ITI or Trade Certificate in HVAC or a related field.
• 2–3 years of hands‑on HVAC maintenance experience, preferably in a hotel or large building environment.
• Basic understanding of HVAC components and tools.
• Willingness to learn and work under supervision.

Required skills

• HVAC preventive and corrective maintenance.
• Servicing of FCUs, AHUs, FAHUs, exhaust fans and ventilation systems.
• Filter replacement, belt inspection, drain cleaning and lubrication.
• Use of hand tools and basic diagnostic equipment.
• Compliance with safety permit‑to‑work procedures and logbook documentation.
