IB Science Teacher

About the role

We are seeking an enthusiastic IB Science Teacher to deliver the International Baccalaureate curriculum to secondary students in Dubai. The successful candidate will teach both Middle Years Programme (MYP) and Diploma Programme (DP) science courses, fostering inquiry‑based learning in a supportive school community.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging science lessons for MYP and DP students.
• Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
• Collaborate with colleagues and parents to create a supportive learning environment.
• Develop and implement inquiry‑based learning programs and initiatives.
• Contribute to the school’s holistic approach to student well‑being and personal development.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a science discipline and a valid teaching certificate.
• Minimum two years of post‑qualification teaching experience.
• Experience in an international school setting is advantageous.
• Familiarity with the IB DP science curriculum is a distinct advantage.
• Passion for supporting the social‑emotional well‑being of young learners.
