ICT Teacher – UK IGCSE Computing (Full-time)

About the role

International Community Schools is seeking a dedicated ICT Teacher to join Al Maharat Private School for the 2026/27 academic year. The role involves delivering the UK‑IGCSE Computing curriculum to high/secondary school students in a multicultural, supportive environment.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging Computing lessons aligned with the UK‑IGCSE syllabus.
• Create lesson plans, assessments and learning resources that address diverse student needs.
• Develop students’ critical thinking, problem‑solving and digital literacy skills.
• Monitor and evaluate student progress, providing constructive feedback.
• Collaborate with colleagues to improve teaching practices and contribute to school activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Education, Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field.
• Minimum three years of teaching experience in Computing or related subjects at secondary level.
• Strong knowledge of the UK IGCSE Computing syllabus.
• Excellent classroom management and communication skills in English.
