Identity and Access Management Specialist (1-Year FTC)

About the role

Beacon Red is looking for an Identity and Access Management (IAM) Specialist to join its team in Abu Dhabi. You will design, implement and administer identity and access controls in classified and restricted environments, ensuring users, systems and privileged accounts have access based on security policies, clearance, need-to-know and least-privilege principles.

Key responsibilities

• Administer user identities, accounts, roles, groups and access permissions across classified environments
• Implement and manage MFA, RBAC, privileged access management (PAM) and access-control mechanisms
• Manage user onboarding, transfers, access reviews and secure account deprovisioning
• Enforce access based on security clearance, authorization, need-to-know and least privilege
• Manage privileged and service accounts and monitor their use
• Support identity lifecycle management and integration with Active Directory, LDAP, PKI and authentication services
• Monitor authentication and access events and investigate anomalous or unauthorized access
• Conduct periodic access reviews and support audits, security assessments and compliance activities
• Maintain IAM policies, procedures, access matrices and technical documentation
• Support secure credential, certificate and cryptographic key management where applicable
• Ensure IAM systems comply with classified-environment security requirements and configuration standards
• Support incident response for compromised accounts or unauthorized access

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in an IT-related subject
• At least 4 years of experience with IAM platforms and privileged-access solutions
• Strong understanding of security policies, access-control procedures and compliance requirements
• Strong analytical, documentation and troubleshooting skills
• English proficiency required; unsolicited resumes from recruitment agencies are not accepted

Required skills

• IAM, Active Directory, LDAP, RBAC, MFA and PAM
• Certifications such as CISSP, Security+, Microsoft, SailPoint or CyberArk are desirable
