Implementation Engineer – Data Center & Networking

About the role

Condo Protego is seeking a hands‑on Implementation Engineer to lead on‑site delivery, deployment and integration of servers, storage and networking solutions across customer data‑centres in the UAE and the wider region. The role is post‑sales focused, requiring end‑to‑end ownership of installations, upgrades and migrations while ensuring clean, well‑documented builds.

Key responsibilities

• Install, rack, stack, cable and commission servers, storage arrays and network equipment at customer sites.
• Manage the full deployment lifecycle – firmware/BIOS, OS/hypervisor configuration, networking setup, testing and hand‑over.
• Execute technology refreshes, upgrades, migrations and cut‑overs with minimal disruption, including planned maintenance windows and occasional out‑of‑hours work.
• Perform structured cabling, labeling, cable management and produce accurate as‑built documentation.
• Configure SAN, NAS and hyper‑converged (HCI) storage platforms, provision volumes/LUNs, zoning, replication and snapshots.
• Deploy rack and blade servers, virtualise workloads using VMware vSphere or Microsoft Hyper‑V, and support Windows and Linux environments.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of field implementation experience in data‑centre infrastructure.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to work independently on customer sites.
• Excellent documentation and communication abilities.
