In-Vehicle Safety Driver

About the role

We are looking for an In-Vehicle Safety Driver to support safe testing and operation of autonomous vehicles on real-world roads. The role involves driving the vehicle during testing, assisting with hardware and software updates, and ensuring all activities follow strict safety procedures.

Key responsibilities

• Operate autonomous vehicles during real-world road testing and operational activities.
• Support hardware and software update testing and cloud-cabin connected vehicle testing.
• Conduct routine road-running and validation activities.
• Participate in special experience, demonstration, and VIP vehicle sessions.
• Identify and report any operational or safety concerns.
• Coordinate with operational and technical teams to ensure safe completion of testing.

Required profile

• Previous experience in automotive operations, vehicle testing, transportation, fleet operations or similar environments (preferred).
• Strong awareness of road safety and safe driving practices.
• Comfortable working with new technology and autonomous vehicle systems.
• Good communication and reporting skills.
• Ability to follow detailed operational and safety procedures.
• Responsible, safety-conscious and able to stay focused during vehicle operations.
• Valid UAE driving licence (preferred).
