Influencer Marketing Account Director – Dubai

About the role

WPP Media is seeking an Influencer Marketing Account Director to lead its influencer marketing vertical in Dubai. The role combines strategy, operations, talent relationships and media integration to make influencer marketing a scalable and measurable capability for the agency and its clients.

Key responsibilities

• Lead a team of Managers and Executives, set priorities, review output and resolve escalations.
• Act as senior influencer advisor to clients, providing strategic guidance on creator ecosystems, partnership models and performance opportunities.
• Shape annual, quarterly and campaign‑level influencer strategies aligned with business priorities and brand positioning.
• Oversee campaign quality from creator selection and negotiation to content production, reporting and post‑campaign actions.
• Develop and maintain senior relationships with creators, talent agencies, platforms and production partners.
• Set standards for influencer measurement, reporting frameworks and insight‑led optimization.
• Champion best practices around disclosure, brand safety, usage rights, exclusivity and cultural sensitivity.
• Partner with senior leaders across media, strategy, creative, social, commerce, data and client service to integrate influencer thinking into broader solutions.
