Information Security Controller (UAE National)

About the role

The Information Security Controller will oversee safety across the Dubai Metro system, ensuring rapid, accurate communication from the control centre to passengers and staff. This position is based in Dubai and reports to the OCC Duty Manager.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor all metro areas using CCTV and telecommunications systems to detect crime, vandalism, fare evasion and other security threats.
• Direct Customer Service Operators and train drivers to respond to incidents and manage passenger flow.
• Serve as the primary liaison between Dubai Metro, Dubai Police and other governmental agencies.
• Provide real‑time information to passengers at stations and on‑board trains.
• Assist with emergency duties, shift handovers and external communications as required.
• Oversee operation of station equipment such as escalators, elevators, ticket machines and fire detection systems.

Required profile

• UAE national with at least 2 years of relevant security or operations experience.
• Fluent in English and Arabic, both written and spoken.
• Valid UAE driving licence and good driving record.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced, time‑sensitive environment.
