Information Technology Specialist

About the role

CÉ LA VI Dubai is seeking a proactive Information Technology Specialist to keep its hospitality technology ecosystem running smoothly. The role blends on‑site and remote work, allowing you to respond quickly to operational needs while supporting system upgrades and new implementations.

Key responsibilities

• Provide day‑to‑day IT support for all hospitality operations, minimizing downtime.
• Maintain, troubleshoot, and update MICROS POS systems, including menu changes, pricing, reporting, and integrations.
• Liaise with Operations, Finance, and external vendors to resolve technical issues efficiently.
• Implement, configure, and optimise back‑office and reporting tools.
• Ensure data accuracy, system security, and compliance with internal data‑protection standards.
• Document processes, deliver basic user training, and promote best practices.
• Identify and propose system improvements that enhance guest experience and operational efficiency.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or equivalent practical experience.
• Proven IT experience in hospitality or food‑and‑beverage environments.
• Hands‑on experience with POS systems, preferably MICROS.
• Strong understanding of hospitality operations and how technology supports service delivery.
• Excellent problem‑solving abilities and a service‑oriented mindset.
• Effective communication skills for both technical and non‑technical teams.
• Ability to work independently in a flexible office/remote setup.
