Innovation and Venture Designer

About the role

The Innovation and Venture Designer will shape the future of banking by creating customer‑centric digital and service experiences across SC Ventures’ portfolio. Reporting to the Head of Innovation and Design, you will turn bold ideas into scalable ventures.

Key responsibilities

• Shape bold venture concepts by applying commercial acumen and emerging trends in AI, fintech and digital business models.
• Validate propositions through rapid prototyping, user testing and evidence‑based investment recommendations.
• Design and iterate UX, service flows and prototypes using modern tools to move from ambiguity to clear, market‑ready solutions.
• Collaborate with venture CEOs, product leaders, engineers and senior stakeholders to influence high‑impact decisions.

Required profile

• Senior individual contributor comfortable with change, ambiguity and fast‑moving markets.
• Strong human‑centred and product design expertise.
• Commercially minded with the ability to translate customer insight into venture hypotheses.
• Director‑level accountability and influence across cross‑functional teams.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Figma for UI/UX design and prototyping.
• Experience using AI‑augmented design tools such as Claude.
