In‑Room Dining Order Taker – Luxury Hotel

About the role

Join the world of luxury hospitality at Raffles Dubai as an In‑Room Dining Order Taker. You will deliver prompt, personalized in‑room dining service, uphold Raffles’ luxury standards, and help maximise guest satisfaction and food‑and‑beverage revenue.

Key responsibilities

• Update daily operational feedback, prepare cashiering forms and handle cash accurately following Raffles and accounting procedures.
• Maintain complete knowledge of menus, wine, beverage lists, promotions and hotel services, and communicate any unavailable items with the culinary team.
• Answer guest calls using LQA standards, take orders with personalized recommendations and upsell effectively.
• Ensure correct POS and cashiering procedures, monitor delivery times and keep the Order Taker cabin clean and organized.
• Support colleagues during busy periods, process beverage and store requisitions, and record guest preferences for future service.
• Report guest complaints, service concerns and operational issues promptly, following Raffles service‑recovery standards.

Required profile

• Good verbal, reading and writing proficiency in English and a professional appearance.
• Strong communication, problem‑solving and guest‑contact skills, with the ability to stay composed in a fast‑paced environment.
• Minimum 1–2 years experience in in‑room dining or a similar guest‑facing hotel role, preferably in a luxury property.
• Familiarity with LQA, HACCP, hygiene and luxury service standards is an advantage.

• Experience using POS systems and cash handling procedures.
