Inspector Electrical

About the role

KEO Group is seeking an experienced Electrical Inspector to join its Abu Dhabi team on a temporary basis. The role involves ensuring that all electrical works on site meet contractual specifications, local codes, and international best practices.

Key responsibilities

• Attend to Inspection Requests (IRs) submitted by contractors and act promptly.
• Review shop drawings against contract drawings, specifications, and statutory requirements.
• Report any non‑conforming works to stakeholders and issue Non‑Conformance Reports (NCRs) as needed.
• Monitor the quality and safety of electrical installations, including health and environmental considerations.
• Maintain daily activity records, progress photographs, and make them available for inspection.
• Prepare surveillance reports highlighting deficiencies and recommend corrective actions.

Required profile

• Proven experience in electrical inspection within construction projects.
• Strong understanding of local electrical codes and statutory regulations.
• Ability to assess safety and health risks on site.
• Excellent attention to detail and documentation skills.
