Inspector, HSE

About the role

The HSE Inspector will lead the observation and inspection of health, safety, environment and security standards across ADNOC assets, projects and operations. You will ensure compliance with company policies, identify hazards, and communicate risks promptly to protect personnel and the environment.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct HSE inspections and observations across sites, plants, and processes to verify compliance with ADNOC standards and procedures.
• Assess, document and report chemical, physical, biological, ergonomic and other hazards identified in the work environment.
• Determine appropriate inspection tools and techniques based on the specific activity, equipment or material being examined.
• Investigate non‑conformities, incidents and near‑misses, record details and support root‑cause analysis.
• Participate in incident investigations and audits as directed by senior management.
• Verify that equipment, materials and activities meet HSE procedures and communicate findings to relevant stakeholders.
• Monitor the use and condition of personal protective equipment (PPE) and advise on correct usage.
• Prepare and deliver clear HSE reports and updates to management and field teams.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience (approximately 60 months) in HSE inspection, monitoring or related roles.
• Strong knowledge of HSE standards, regulations and best practices.
• Ability to analyse risks, produce accurate reports and communicate findings effectively.
• Proactive attitude with a focus on continuous improvement of safety performance.
