Institutional Research Specialist

About the role

The Strategy Division at Zayed University is looking for an Institutional Research Specialist to lead data‑driven initiatives that support strategic planning, performance monitoring and continuous improvement across the university.

Key responsibilities

• Implement institutional data collection, governance and management frameworks in line with approved standards.
• Analyse and validate complex datasets and produce professional analytics reports for decision‑making.
• Develop predictive models and forecasting tools to support strategic and operational planning.
• Create and deliver business intelligence outputs, including interactive dashboards.
• Conduct institutional research studies, market trend analyses and benchmarking activities.
• Design, administer and analyse surveys and assessments.
• Assist senior specialists with interpreting research findings and recommending actions.
• Support the development of standardised data reporting protocols.
• Perform ad‑hoc tasks as required by the supervisor.

Required profile

• Master’s degree with at least 2 years of relevant experience (including 1 year in a supervisory role) or a Bachelor’s degree with at least 4 years of experience (including 2 years supervisory).
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Certification in a relevant field is preferred.
