Integrated Management System Internal Audit Officer

About the role

The Integrated Management System (IMS) Internal Audit Officer will support Edge’s quality management framework by planning and executing internal audits across AL TAIF sites in the UAE. The role ensures compliance with ISO standards, contractual requirements, and internal risk controls while driving continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Execute the approved IMS audit plan and conduct scheduled internal audits at various AL TAIF locations.
• Prepare audit checklists covering project contracts, ISO standards, EIAC and other relevant requirements.
• Document audit findings, propose opportunities for improvement (OFIs) and corrective actions (CARs) where non‑conformities are identified.
• Maintain and track the status of CARs and OFIs, verifying closure in a timely manner.
• Assist in preparing for external audits and provide training/awareness to employees.
• Generate trend analysis reports on internal audit performance.
• Support the risk management program by identifying and reporting QHSE, legal and contractual risks during audits.
• Maintain confidentiality and security of all company information.

Required profile

• High School Diploma (Bachelor’s degree in Engineering preferred).
• 2–4 years of experience in a quality auditing role, preferably in a technical field.
• Auditor certification for current management systems (e.g., ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, ISO/IEC 17025); Lead Auditor status is a plus.
• Ability to understand and apply risk frameworks and audit methodologies.
