Interior Design Architect

About the role

WSP is looking for an experienced Interior Design Architect to join its UAE Supervision team. You will lead the review and supervision of interior architectural works during construction, ensuring design, quality and technical requirements are met.

Key responsibilities

• Review and supervise interior architectural works to ensure compliance with approved drawings and specifications.
• Conduct site inspections, monitor construction quality, progress and workmanship.
• Review shop drawings, material submittals, mock‑ups and RFIs.
• Coordinate with contractors, consultants and project stakeholders to resolve technical issues.
• Ensure compliance with UAE regulations, project standards and QA/QC requirements.
• Support material approvals, snagging, testing, commissioning and project handover activities.
• Prepare inspection reports and provide technical guidance throughout project delivery.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Interior Architecture or Interior Design.
• 12‑15 years of relevant experience, including UAE project experience.
• Strong background in construction supervision, interior fit‑out, finishing works and design coordination.
• Experience on hospitality, commercial, residential or mixed‑use developments.

Required skills

• Proficiency in AutoCAD.
• Proficiency in Revit.
• Experience with BIM platforms.
