Interior Design Quality Director – Site Based

About the role

We are looking for an Interior Design Quality Director to lead and safeguard interior design quality across villa and residential development projects in Dubai. The role ensures that on‑site execution, materials, finishes and craftsmanship meet approved design standards and client expectations.

Key responsibilities

• Review and validate interior design packages (FF&E, joinery, finishes, lighting, materials) against approved concepts before site execution.
• Conduct regular site walkthroughs and quality inspections at each construction/fit‑out stage.
• Identify and resolve discrepancies between design drawings and on‑site execution to avoid costly rework.
• Act as the on‑site authority for interior design matters, coordinating with contractors, subcontractors, joinery workshops and FF&E suppliers.
• Collaborate with design consultants to clarify details, manage design change requests and align interior design milestones with the construction programme.
• Develop and maintain interior finishing quality benchmarks, snag‑list protocols and inspection checklists.
• Own the snagging and de‑snagging process through to handover and approve material and finish samples.
• Maintain logs of design queries, approvals, variations and quality inspection reports, providing regular status updates to senior management.

Required profile

• Minimum 8 years (96 months) of experience in interior design quality assurance or related roles.
• Proven ability to manage design quality on villa and residential projects.
