Intermediate Quantity Surveyor

About the role

AtkinsRéalis is seeking an Intermediate Quantity Surveyor to join its growing team in Abu Dhabi. You will work on newly awarded projects across various sectors in the UAE, handling post‑contract commercial administration and supporting high‑profile developments.

Key responsibilities

• Post‑contract commercial administration, including re‑measurement and interim/final account payment assessments.
• Preparation of monthly cost reports, variation assessments, and contractor claim reviews.
• Management of provisional sums, prime costs, nominated sub‑contractors, insurances and bonds.
• Attendance and contribution to design and commercial meetings.

Required profile

• Degree in Quantity Surveying from a recognised university.
• Minimum 5 years post‑degree experience in contracts and commercial management.
• Experience in at least one key sector such as hospitality, residential, buildings or infrastructure.
• Consultant or client background of at least 4 years.
• Strong English technical writing and communication skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Cost X or similar QS software.
• Knowledge of FIDIC contracts.
