Internal Auditor – Audit Manager (FMCG)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Audit Manager to lead internal audit and risk management initiatives for a large, diversified FMCG organization in the UAE. The role involves planning and executing risk‑based audits across financial, operational, commercial and functional areas, and delivering actionable recommendations to strengthen governance.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and execute risk‑based internal audits across all business units.
• Develop audit scopes, risk assessments, programs and testing plans.
• Review financial and operational processes to assess internal control effectiveness.
• Identify control weaknesses, compliance issues and potential risks.
• Prepare clear audit findings, recommendations and management reports.
• Discuss observations with process owners and agree corrective action plans.
• Monitor implementation of recommendations and report high‑risk items to senior management.
• Conduct follow‑up reviews to evaluate corrective actions.
• Support audits across multiple legal entities, functions and geographies.
• Collaborate with Finance, Risk, Legal, Compliance and business teams.
• Identify opportunities to improve controls, efficiency and governance.
• Maintain audit documentation in line with internal methodology and professional standards.
• Contribute to continuous improvement, including data analytics and technology‑enabled techniques.

Required profile

• 5‑8 years of relevant internal audit experience.
• Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification is mandatory.
• Additional certifications such as CIA, CISA, CFE or ACCA are a plus.
• Strong understanding of internal controls, risk assessment and audit methodology.
