Internal Compliance Specialist

About the role

Miral Experiences is seeking an Internal Compliance Specialist to support the implementation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of its Internal Compliance Framework and Compliance Management System. You will work closely with business units, shared services, and Compliance Champions to ensure alignment with corporate policies, regulatory requirements, governance expectations, and standards such as ISO 37301 and ISO 31000.

Key responsibilities

• Support the implementation and enhancement of the Compliance Management System aligned with ISO 37301 and governance frameworks.
• Conduct compliance risk assessments, gap assessments, and compliance maturity reviews.
• Prepare compliance documentation and evidence for audits, assessments, and certification activities.
• Facilitate compliance risk workshops and maintain risk registers and action plans.
• Monitor regulatory developments and governance risks affecting the business.
• Perform walkthroughs, sample testing, documentation reviews, and evidence validation across functions such as Procurement, Finance, HR, IT, Legal, and Administration.
• Identify compliance gaps, policy breaches, control weaknesses, and process improvement opportunities.
• Prepare compliance reports, findings, and recommendations.

Required profile

• Experience conducting compliance risk assessments and reviews.
• Familiarity with ISO 37301 and ISO 31000 standards.
• Ability to prepare documentation for audits and certification.
• Strong analytical judgment and professionalism.
