Inventory Head – Building Materials

About the role

A leading building materials supplier in Dubai is seeking an experienced Inventory Head to direct inventory operations across several warehouses and retail branches. The role focuses on ensuring optimal stock levels, accurate record‑keeping, and seamless coordination with internal teams.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee inventory management for multiple warehouse and retail locations.
• Monitor stock levels, conduct regular audits and maintain precise inventory records.
• Develop and implement strategies to minimise shortages and excess stock.
• Coordinate with warehouse staff, procurement and sales teams to ensure smooth operations.
• Continuously improve inventory processes and reporting mechanisms.

Required profile

• 8–10 years of experience in inventory management, specifically within building materials trading.
• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Commerce or a related field.
• Proven ability to lead teams and manage inventory across multiple sites.
• Strong analytical, organizational and leadership capabilities.

Required skills

• Experience with inventory management systems.
• Knowledge of warehouse operations, stock planning and control.
