Investor Relations & Operations Manager - Fund Administration background

About the role

We are seeking an Investor Relations & Operations Manager to work directly with the founding partners of a fast‑growing early‑stage venture capital firm in Dubai. The role combines LP servicing, fund reporting and operational oversight.

Key responsibilities

• Act as primary point of contact for limited partners, handling queries and delivering documents promptly.
• Prepare quarterly fund updates and gather reporting from portfolio companies.
• Participate in LP calls with partners to review performance and new investments.
• Onboard new LPs into SPVs and co‑investment vehicles, managing subscription documents through Carta from interest to closing.
• Coordinate annual LP KYC refreshes with the provider and investors.
• Manage the relationship with Carta as fund administrator, reviewing their work for accuracy.
• Review K‑1s and liaise with CPAs and auditors at year‑end.
• Oversee banking and treasury operations across funds and SPVs.
• Maintain data room, LP records and CRM.
• Organise annual meetings, LP dinners, conference attendance and related travel.
• Build operational processes and documentation as the firm scales.

Required profile

• 2–4 years experience in fund administration, Big 4 audit for asset managers, or private‑equity/venture‑capital back‑office.
• Working knowledge of US GAAP or IFRS as applied to investment funds, including fund mechanics, capital accounts, fees and performance metrics.
• Excellent written communication skills for external firm communication.
• Ability to work autonomously without rigid structure or daily supervision.
• High discretion handling confidential information.
• Based in the UAE with a degree from a reputable western university.
