Islamic B Teacher – September 2024

About the role

We are seeking an enthusiastic Islamic B Teacher to join GEMS Founders School in Dubai for the September 2024 intake. The role involves delivering the Islamic B curriculum to both primary and secondary students in a dynamic, student‑centred environment.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, deliver and assess engaging Islamic B lessons for primary and secondary classes.
• Create a supportive and inspiring classroom atmosphere that encourages student participation.
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop interdisciplinary projects and school activities.
• Maintain accurate records of student progress and communicate outcomes to parents.
• Utilise educational technology to enhance learning experiences.

Required profile

• Bachelor of Arts in Islamic Studies or equivalent.
• Valid teacher‑qualifying certification.
• Minimum two years of teaching experience at primary and secondary levels.
• Strong command of written and spoken English (IELTS 6 or higher).

Required skills

• In‑depth knowledge of Islamic B subject matter.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Proficiency in using IT tools for classroom instruction.
• Ability to build positive relationships with students, parents and staff.
