Islamic Studies Teacher (Full-time)

About the role

We are seeking a qualified Islamic Studies Teacher to join GEMS United Indian School in Abu Dhabi on a full‑time basis. The successful candidate will deliver the Islamic Studies curriculum to primary/secondary students, fostering a deep understanding of the subject while adhering to the school’s academic standards.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, prepare and deliver engaging Islamic Studies lessons in line with the CBSE framework (preferred).
• Assess student progress, provide feedback and maintain accurate records.
• Collaborate with fellow teachers to integrate cross‑curricular activities.
• Participate in staff meetings, parent‑teacher conferences and school events.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Education and a Bachelor’s degree in Islamic Studies (non‑distance learning).
• Minimum two years of teaching experience, preferably within the CBSE curriculum.
• Strong subject knowledge and solid fundamentals in Islamic Studies.
