IT Administrator

About the role

The IT Admin plays a crucial role in ensuring the seamless operation of an organization's IT infrastructure. This position involves the management, maintenance, and troubleshooting of computer systems, networks, and software applications.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and monitor network, security and computer systems to ensure availability.
• Provide support and troubleshooting for Windows, macOS and mobile environments.
• Manage user accounts, permissions and access rights in Active Directory.
• Perform regular and on‑demand system backups and data‑recovery operations.
• Install and configure new hardware and software to meet company objectives.
• Implement network security measures, including firewalls, antivirus and intrusion‑detection systems.
• Develop and maintain network documentation and configurations.
• Coordinate with external vendors for system repairs and service agreements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field.
• Proven experience as an IT Administrator or in a similar role.

Required skills

• Windows, macOS and Linux operating systems.
• Active Directory user and permission management.
• System backup and data‑recovery procedures.
• Hardware installation and software configuration.
• Firewall, antivirus and intrusion‑detection system administration.
• Network documentation and configuration management.
