IT Applications Analyst

About the role

The IT Applications Analyst will develop, maintain and enhance ADNOC’s IT applications to deliver cost‑effective information services that meet business requirements. The role focuses on designing enterprise solutions for the e‑Learning environment at ATA, translating user needs into functional prototypes, and providing end‑user training.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, maintain and enhance IT applications in line with ADNOC policies.
• Design and implement enterprise solutions for the e‑Learning setup at ATA.
• Analyze user requirements, create prototypes, and deliver training to end users.
• Resolve technical issues between ATA and ADNOC infrastructure teams.
• Maintain configuration, integration and deployment of software systems.
• Conduct capacity planning and ensure resources meet current and future needs.
• Implement modifications, perform testing, and document changes.
• Prepare workflow diagrams, encode requirements, and develop data‑integrity checks.
• Liaise with stakeholders to build, test, release and deploy application updates.
• Prepare user manuals and maintain historical development records.
• Monitor application performance, tune systems and manage incidents throughout their lifecycle.
• Translate business requirements into technical specifications and support change‑management initiatives.

Required profile

• Proven experience in IT application development and maintenance.
• Ability to analyse business needs and produce functional prototypes.
• Strong communication skills for training end users and coordinating with infrastructure teams.
• Experience in capacity planning, performance monitoring and incident management.
• Capability to supervise and train junior staff and contribute to budget preparation.
