IT Director

About the role

Digital Link Technology LLC is seeking an experienced IT Director to lead all information technology functions across the organisation. The role involves managing a team of IT managers, overseeing technology operations and driving the implementation of new IT systems and policies.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee all technology operations, including network security, and evaluate performance against established goals.
• Develop and enforce IT policies and systems that support strategic initiatives set by senior management.
• Analyse business requirements of each department to determine technology needs and recommend solutions.
• Procure cost‑effective hardware, software and other technological equipment.
• Monitor the use of equipment and software to ensure optimal functionality and efficiency.
• Identify upgrade or new system requirements and report recommendations to upper management.
• Coordinate IT managers and supervise technicians, computer scientists and other professionals.
• Control the IT budget, track expenditures and provide regular financial reports.
• Build and maintain vendor relationships, negotiating cost‑efficient contracts.

Required profile

• Proven experience as an IT Director or in a comparable senior IT leadership role.
• Strong background in analysis, implementation and evaluation of IT systems.
• Solid understanding of computer hardware, software and networking concepts.
• Experience managing an information technology budget.
• Excellent organisational and leadership abilities.
• Outstanding communication skills.
• BSc/BA in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field; MSc/MA is a plus.
