IT Lecturer

About the role

The IT Lecturer will deliver vocational IT courses to students in Dubai, covering both foundational concepts and practical applications of emerging technologies. The role combines teaching, curriculum development, and student support within a dynamic educational environment.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and deliver lectures, tutorials, workshops, and seminars on IT subjects.
• Design, grade, and review assignments, tests, and examinations.
• Collaborate with fellow academics to enhance teaching methods and update course content.
• Maintain consistent course syllabi, weekly plans, assessment methods, and documentation.
• Provide academic advising and follow‑up for at‑risk students.
• Participate in departmental meetings, conferences, and professional development activities.
• Stay current with industry trends and contribute to scholarly publications.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in a relevant field (PhD preferred).
• Minimum five years of teaching experience in vocational IT education.
• Strong industry background to relate real‑world applications to students.
• Commitment to improving student outcomes and adhering to qualification standards.
